Technical working principle
The hot-press coating process uses controllable heat and pressure to bond decorative films (such as PVC, TPU, synthetic leather, etc.) to plastic substrate components, such as dashboard trim strips, door edge covers and air outlet frames.

Main components
Upper and lower aluminum hot-pressing dies
Servo drive or pneumatic pressing system
Adjustable temperature control(120–160°C)
Film tensioning and positioning system
PLC + HMI touch screen interface (English)
Optional vacuum suction cup table and cutting unit

Standard production process
1.Feeding
Place the plastic substrate on a precision fixture (either manually or via a robotic arm).
2.Preheating
Heat the pressing die to the target temperature to activate the adhesive.
3.Film feeding
Place the decorative film on the workpiece using a roller feeder or a single sheet feeder.
4.Hot-pressing lamination
The upper mold descends, simultaneously applying pressure and heat to bond the film to the curved substrate.
5.Pressure holding and cooling
The short holding time ensures that the adhesive cures, and then it cools to maintain its shape.
6.Trimming the edge
Trim off the excess film to achieve a neat final outline.
7.Unloading
The laminated components are removed and the next cycle begins.
Cycle time: 15-30 seconds, depending on the size of the component and the type of film.
